Funding for home energy improvements
Our job is to link our clients with funding for home energy improvements wherever we can.
Some grants are available to everyone, but many are targeted at low income households and those living in poorly insulated homes. We often apply for grants on behalf of our clients.
As an independent charity, we act as an intermediary and are here to help our clients understand their unique options, whatever their living circumstances.
We’ve helped residents across Southampton, Hampshire and Portsmouth access funding towards the cost of home energy efficiency measures. This includes loft and wall insulation, solar panels, air source heat pumps, heating upgrades and more.
We can also help our clients check if they’re eligible for energy vouchers and rebates from their gas and electricity suppliers.
We explore an extensive list of funding streams, including:
- The client’s Local Authority
- Home Upgrade Grant (HUG)
- Boiler Upgrade Scheme
- Energy Company Obligation (ECO4)
- Great British Insulation Scheme (GBIS)
- ECO4 and GBIS Flex
- The Parity Trust
- Turn2Us
- Armed Forces charities
- Charitable foundations
