Refund, compensation and a switch to smart meters.
This Hampshire client needed to know how to resolve an issue with an energy supplier. We stepped in and achieved three main outcomes for them.
Key outcomes:
1️⃣ £900 credit refunded after long-term dispute.
2️⃣ Gas and electric meters swapped to smart meters.
3️⃣ £120 in compensation to the client.
This client is bedbound and their energy bills were based on inaccurate overestimates. They had old meters at the property and the gas meter was broken. Through our Hitting the Cold Spots service, we acted on the client’s behalf to resolve the issue and secure compensation for poor service.
