Hampshire’s impartial energy advice service, My Home Made Better, is supported by quarterly Steering Group meetings, organised by the Environment Centre (tEC).

As well as from our partner organisations; Energy Alton, Petersfield Climate Action Network (PeCAN) and Winchester Action on the Climate Crisis (WinACC).

Terms of reference

Steering group members help:

  • Provide the My Home Made Better project lead with the opportunity to update and engage members on key developments.
  • Help us shape the service, bringing ideas and their experience to bear.
  • Provide an opportunity to share information on work programmes, initiatives etc. relevant to domestic retrofit.
  • Disseminate information and engage with members’ communities and networks to enable better awareness and involvement with My Home Made Better.
  • Explore the potential for ongoing retrofit (advice) work beyond the current funding for My Home Made Better.
