Are you worried about managing energy bills and staying warm and well this winter?

As part of the city’s Southampton Healthy Homes energy advice service, residents are invited to book a free, one-to-one appointment with an impartial energy adviser to check they are getting the most out of their home energy.

During the appointment, residents can get help with:

  • Reducing energy bills
  • Accessing discounts and support
  • Understanding meters and payment methods
  • Advice on heating and hot water systems
  • Support accessing grants for heating upgrades, insulation, and renewable technologies
  • Resolving disputes or concerns with energy suppliers
  • Advice on reducing damp and mould
  • Staying warm and well at home.

Appointments are available at Shirley Library on Tuesday, 16th September, Tuesday 21st October and Tuesday, 18th November 2025.

Sessions are hosted by experienced energy advisers at the Environment Centre (tEC) as part of the Southampton Healthy Homes energy advice service, funded by Southampton City Council.
