New service will offer free, impartial energy advice for homeowners.
Work is underway to launch a brand new advice service to help homeowners improve and future-proof their properties.

My home made better will offer Hampshire, Southampton and Portsmouth residents free and impartial advice relating to home energy, from insulation and heating right through to switching to new technologies.
With many residents wanting to make their homes warmer and cheaper to run, but aren’t sure where to start, My home made better will help individuals understand which options might be best for their unique circumstances. Experienced energy advisers will be on hand to dispel myths and simplify complex information. Did you know that good quality loft insulation could keep up to 25% of the heat indoors?
Alongside a dedicated project website launching in spring, My home made better will inspire residents with one-to-one advice, case studies, videos, online resources, open homes, events and webinars, all designed to help individuals make more informed decisions about their properties.

In fact, the project is already inspiring homeowners with experience to take part in case studies and interviews to help others feel more confident to take their own next steps!
